Range Rover Evoque Unveiled

Range Rover hits it big. This all-new coupé will join the Range Rover and Range Rover athletics adjust in the summer of 2011.

Range Rover Evoque is inspired by the LRX concept, the three-door crossover features an aggressive front end, a rising beltline, and LED taillights.

Land Rover’s new compact Range Rover Evoque has been unveiled with the promise that the car would be the smallest, lightest, cleanest Range Rover ever. Unveiled at a ceremony that marked the 40th anniversary of the Range Rover line, the Evoque rolled out of the company’s assembly line with many a celebrity applauding it.

Range Rover Evoque features 2.2-liter turbodiesel produces 150 PS (110 kW / 148 hp) and 190PS (140 kW / 187 hp). The turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol churns out 240 PS (177 kW / 237 hp).

The Evoque will be offered in three grades: the basic Pure, the luxury-oriented Prestige and the sports-themed Dynamic.

Depending on the trim grade, the Evoque's interior will feature a cloth upholstery made from 100 percent recycled polyester or, for higher grades, a full leather trim.

Equipment and features in the cabin will include Bluetooth audio streaming, USB connectivity, hard-drive based navigation system, and a panoramic sunroof.

Audio is provided by a Meridian system, with an 11-speaker setup as standard and 17 speakers available as an optional extra. A dual-screen rear entertainment system also figures among the interior options.
